DESIGNER | I’ve always been creative, and have been told so many times by friends and family. I know that I want to pursue a career that allows me to showcase my creativity, and I know that a career in graphic design would fulfill that goal. Recently, I’ve discovered my true love in creativity: lettering and typography. It wasn’t until I took a hand lettering class on Skillshare that I discovered this, but now I like devoting quite a bit of my free time to practicing hand lettering and typography. MOVIE AFICIONADO | “Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”  If you don’t know what movie this is from, we can’t be friends. Just kidding. But seriously.

ANIMAL FANATIC | If I’m being completely honest, I love animals more than people. They are the only living things that love you more than they love themselves, which is rather admirable. A couple of my best friends are my two cats (they are great listeners). People already call me a crazy cat lady.

FITNESS JUNKIE | I want to be happy, with my body and the way I feel about myself. In order for me to feel this way, I have dedicated myself to eating healthy, exercising, and surrounding myself with people who have the same goals. My Health and Fitness page is dedicated to helping others realize and work toward their own health and fitness goals, because I’m not the only one who wants to feel great about themselves.

I love reading, writing, Pinterest (social media in general), my dog (Harley), Christmas, springtime and strawberries.  I also love to smile and laugh — two things that make life worthwhile.

I am originally from Nebraska City, Nebraska, but I am currently residing in Omaha, Nebraska, where I am working as an Administrative Assistant for the Omaha World-Herald. Eventually, I hope to obtain a job in the advertising and marketing industry that allows me to showcase my creativity.

In my free time, you can find me browsing Pinterest, Behance, and Dribbble for design inspiration. I also love discovering new designs on Creative Market, and I also take as many online design classes as possible through Skillshare.

Finally, Audrey Hepburn said it best: “I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles.”
